In the modern world and as inhabitants of this world, we cannot deny the effects and impact of technology on our lives. We are surrounded and depended on technology for almost everything. From daily work to entertainment, technology is all pervading. Butthe effects of it are more harmful than useful. The prolonged use of anythingis always bad. Same with technological aids like mobile phones. Today almost every household has access to mobile phones. In the urban areas, the children are handed over mobile phones even before they graduate from school. This hasled to lesser physical activities and games being played. Also it has led to obesity and other diseases in teenagers as they tend to sit and use mobile phones. They have almost zero social life as they are hooked to the screen forhours. There are behavioural and mental changes. This has led to depression and anxiety among teenagers. For these repercussions, they are not to be blamed alone. The parents give them these because they become quite busy in theirworks. So in order to lessen the bad impacts of the screen on the young minds, parents must spend time with their children, play games, take them on holidays. The parents must give a lot of effort to lessen the use of screen. Though it's good effects are also of relevance and can be used when required, but too much of it becomes harmful. So it must be avoided.
